What upgrades should I choose

This depends on the application, when the car is subjected to high side loads upgrading to a larger shaft is recommended. Contact us or a dealer if you need help choosing.

Low friction shaft coating

Our JRZ shafts can be upgraded with a low friction coating, this is done by using BALINIT® coating. This is a thin coating with a very low friction coefficient and is very hardwearing, causing an even lower internal friction.

By lowering the friction the damper works even more precise and will be able to damp even the smallest movements. Also stick slip is reduced on the main seal and dust seal.

The graph on above shows a 22 mm piston shaft, the blue line represents the shaft without coating, the orange line represents the shaft with BALINIT® coating.
