  • Bodymotion #12 third consecutive victory

After Sebring international and Laguna seca the bodymotion #12 Cayman GT4 took victory on Watkins Glen, this is there third consecutive victory in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge.

Trent Hindman threaded the needle to take the lead on a three-wide pass with four minutes remaining on Saturday at Watkins Glen International. Hindman went on to score his third consecutive IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge victory, joining Cameron Cassels in the No. 12 Bodymotion Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport.

Miller seemed to be headed to victory when he was able to hold off several charges by Hindman in the closing minutes. However, Miller lost momentum when he slowed momentarily for slower traffic entering Turn 4. Hindman then made his move, slipping between the two cars, with McQuarrie following him to take second.

“This was by far the toughest one yet – and it’s going to keep getting more difficult,” said Hindman. “Patience was king today. It would have been easy to get ahead of myself and take both of us out. The key was all about waiting for the right moment.”

It was the sixth career victory for Hindman, while Cassels won for the third time in four career starts. CJ Wilson Racing, seeking its first GS victory, placed second and third for the second consecutive event.
